Bees, Wasps, or Hornets – Removal

Typical costs range from $150 to $225

We are great at identifying the different stinging insects if you’d like to know exactly what you have send us a picture and we’ll get back with you as soon as we can.

Because of their social structure wasps, yellowjackets, and hornets will not survive a relocation so we treat them differently then a honey bee removal.

Bumble bees and carpenter bees are valuable pollinators so we treat them similar to Honey Bees and do everything possible not to kill them.   or   (630)-660-9846

not a bee

It’s not so easy to tell but here’s a tip that can help. A honey bee will be hairier then a wasps or hornet but not as hairy as a bumble bee.

Honey Bee
Apis Mellifera

This cute little pollinator is truly a wonder of the natural world. Beekeepers love her and flowers can’t get enough of her but home owners aren’t so happy when she decides to take up residence in the home. Give us a call if that happens and we’ll gladly relocate her and all her sisters to a suitable location in one of our hives.

Even though they look menacing and have a stinger they really are quite gentle. If you don’t swat at them and not disturb their hive you have nothing to fear from these honey makers.

Yellow Jacket Wasp

There are many types of wasps and this in one of them. You’ll notice it has less hair then a honey bee and usually is a much brighter color. Stay away they aren’t as gentle as honey bees.

Bald Face Hornet Wasp

Just not a pleasant fellow. Stay away from this little bugger. It doesn’t mind stinging you if you get close enough.
